Maintenance for common types of chiropractic tables

What you need to know about the maintenance of chiropractic tables

Any chiropractor knows their entire practice is centered around the chiropractic table. It’s the equivalent of a workbench: everything must be in tip-top shape and regularly maintained not only to save on expensive repairs for the chiropractor but also the safety of their patients.

But not all chiropractors choose the same tables and equipment for their offices, which means pieces, parts, mechanics, and maintenance of each one differ. From drop-tables to stationary tables, I can assure you that we’re here for all your maintenance and repair needs.

What Types of Chiropractic Tables does MHTT Service?

In short, all of them. There is no job that is too big or too small. Here are some common specific modalities and functions we have serviced, so far, and we are always up for a new challenge.

  • Air-pressure function and control
  • Hydraulic function and control
  • Scissor lift, center column and rocker arm lift
  • Actuators for all applications, lifting, extending, tension, elevating
  • Tilt-up and Hylo, hilo, high-low
  • Stationary
  • Portable
  • Elevation
  • Drop tables
  • Veterinary equipment-specific modalities that can be brought to barns and/or veterinary clinics

How often should my chiropractic tables be maintained?

Just like you’d do regular maintenance and oil changes for your vehicle, the same forethought should be put into your chiropractic equipment. As a general rule of thumb, any table that is plugged into the wall should be maintained and serviced by an experienced professional annually. A table that is 100 percent manually operated should be serviced every two years. If you are searching for parts and tables yourself and may not sure what you have or what it’s called, this website just might have an example of your make and model. If you want our help, we are here for you. Choose any of the options at the top of your screen.

I got your name from Hill Laboratories. I bought a Hi-Lo Activator table from them 3 years ago, and the Hi-Lo function stopped working correctly on Monday. Please help!
